White Chicken Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2-3 chicken breasts, cut up
  • 1-2 cans Northern beans
  • 1 can white corn
  • 2 qts chicken broth
  • 1 can green chilies
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/3 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 8 ounce sour cream
  • 1-2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Instructions
 

  • Sauté garlic, onion and green pepper, if desired, in butter till cooked.
  • Add flour. Put in crock pot.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours.
  • Turn off and add the sour cream and Monterey Jack cheese. Stir and serve. Enjoy!
