Slow Cooker Steel Cut Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Cup Steel cut oats
  • 3 3/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Bananas Mashed
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar Packed
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts Chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in skillet. Add oats, and toast for 2 minutes.
  • Transfer to crock pot and add remaining ingredients.
  • Cook on low 4-6 hours until water is absorbed.
  • Let sit 10 minutes and stir.
  • (Optional add walnuts or fruit)
